Serious answers only, but how big is Hololive, and by extension, Cover in Japanese media? I know people like to bring up anycolor being dominant in Japanese media and merchandise, but is that changing now? Fubuki is in EDF 6, and other hololive members are starting to emerge in games as well.

Hololive's collaborations with companies are strong.
For example, the Japanese convenience store FamilyMart has run several campaigns offering Hololive merchandise. This week, campaign images of energy drinks will be played in the store on a large screen monitor above the cash register.
Hololive is also frequently involved in candy label campaigns.
The sisters take photos of unsold products and manipulate that the hololive is not popular. Or they attack the non-sale campaign and tell them not to collaborate.
This is a mistake and a terrible harm.
Animation label merchandise of all kinds often goes unsold. And they forget that even when they do, a lot of inventory is left over and little is made.

Radio Kaikan itself is shrinking, and the merchandise at Radio Kaikan is second-hand?
If we are talking about stores, we opened a goods store at Tokyo Station for a limited time. Pokemon and Ultraman also have stores in this underground shopping mall.
We also did a Pekora collaboration store in Ginza.
At least in the last year, it is hard to believe that the popularity is decreasing.

Also, when we collaborate with social games, sales temporarily increase significantly.
Recently, Hoshimachi Suisei was implemented in THE iDOLM@STER.
I don't think these are minor.
Another example is the Hololive collaboration with Granblue Fantasy festival. This was criticized by people trolling the distribution and complaining on social networking sites.
The result was that the viewership of the distribution during the participation of the hololive was reasonably good.
Some of the collaboration goods were sold out and re-sold as well.

Huge, the perception that Holo isn't popular in Japan is a couple years out of date. I lived in Japan for the last 6 years and for a while Niji actually was more common to see on billboards or merch than hololive and whenever I'd hear someone talking about vtubers and their oshis more often than not it was Nijis. At a certain point over the last couple years it flipped around and now hololive shit is everywhere, you can't spend a day in the city without running into a picture of a holo girl it feels like and the most common oshis I hear are Marine, Fubuki, peko, and other holos. The japs seem to like Gura too even though she never streams and they can't understand her kek

I went to Japan last month. They're everywhere in the typical otaku areas, not nearly as much coverage as Spy x Family, Heaven Burns Red, maybe comparable to Blue Archive.
I believe it's area dependant though. Animate in Ikebukuro had a lot more Niji merch, likely due to the fact that the area is more of a fujoshi hub. There were two floors of the place dedicated to male idols, kpop etc.
Akihabara felt like it leaned more heavily Holo in advertising and billboards but were somewhat equal in available merch. Holo showed up more in gachapon and claw machines.

I saw two socially awkward girls meeting up to trade male idol photos there like they were doing a drug deal when I was smoking outside a restaurant, and I also saw a reverse trap cosplay gathering outside sunshine city was kinda hot.
Akihabara animate is pretty different, it's much more male focused. Still pretty mid though, go to mandarake and amiami instead. The best store in akiba was toranoana but it closed.
