For a rizzless loser it feels great suddenly being a sex icon but sooner or later you realize you're just a pornstar and your 'fans' treat you as such, plus a minority get totally schizo and possessive because you're their sexual stressball. But of course once you make that your audience, you can't just tell them to stop without losing your audience, and when you lose your audience you lose your income.

What a lot of them don't realize is that discovery algorithms trap you. If you change your content and drive some of your audience away, youtube won't let you find a new audience. The algorithm sees a drop and says "they're declining, nobody wants to see this" and nobody, least of all the new audience you want to attract, will ever get a chance to see your videos ever again. Laymen and inexperienced content creators often fail to realize how inorganic youtube's metrics are and how abysmal its search functions have gotten. You play the game a very specific way or the unknowable abacus unpersons you.
