Honestly you'd be surprised. If you check comments made by some of their dedicated fans, there's definitley some that feel a bit more uneasy about it than others.

FWMC generally are very good at considering their fans feelings, and if there's something that they feel like they're doing wrong they try to work through it with the ruffians. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt for the time being and think that if things really do get bad enough they'll discuss it with their fans. Because they know that some of them have concerns.

Benefit of the doubt at the moment is all I'll say. Been wayching and supporting pre-Holo, I love them and their sillyness. I'm extremely happy they were able to fully move to Japan on a non-temp visa because of the job and I don't mind the occasional full JP stream, collab or otherwise.
I'm still a bit nervous and apprehensive sometimes when it comes to the JP stuff purely because I don't want to lose them. Any time I talk about it in /baubau/, even if it's as calm or collected as this, I'm instantly met with vitriol. No, I will not learn a new language just to watch my entertainment. No, I don't want JP to even take up 1-2 days every week. Yes, I will be sad if they start doing a lot more 1 on 1 collabs with JP members, something they didn't do much with English speaking members.
I want to trust that they know not to do these things, but those doubts sometimes take hold when I see little shit like the pure JP collab eating up one of their precious few streams during this moving break. The JP before EN tweet would make more sense to me if it was a question or comment on Japan directed at JP viewers, but it was just a little cute statement to fans. Little things like that put me on edge that I might lose them, even though I know they 100% won't stop streaming in English.

Again, it plays a little into my fears. They're 'hungry' by their own admission, and I know they won't 'forsake' their fans just to try and get more, but seeing their VoD viewcount for the collab being so high adds to that fear that they will try to reach out a bit more for the JP crowd and do more frequent JP only streams.

If you know their PL than you know that they would rather to something else to begin with. They are idols and always wanted to be. The v-tuber stuff is to stay afloat, but they do it well and will continue to do so. It's not like it's more effort to them to stream in english so I really don't get were that sudden burden should stem from.

On their last two solo streams they got literally almost exactly 10x USD superchats compared to YEN. On the JP LC collab they made diddly squat (which to be fair happens with collabs) and even then it was still mostly USD.

As much as they might want to be JP, I don't think they're stupid enough to bite the hand that feeds them. They'll probably eventually drop trying to do every tweet in JP and they'll probably spam JP collabs for a while but even that will eventually fade out and they'll be back to 90%+ EN content because that's where the money is.
