Some part of the audience treat the streamer talking about some future event or plan as a vow they are making. And thus, things not working out or plans changing makes them a liar. People doing this to Haruka made her almost stop streaming, when she couldn't actually do all the things she had set up as subathon goals. They would bring it up on socials and in chat and tts on streams, like, 'where is the 'x' stream'. And it was enough to really upset her. People trying to the same thing to Mouse don't have as much luck, because she's more resiliant and has better mods. But it hasn't stopped them from trying. That particular post was another example, aimed at Geega. Where she's talked about doing more variety stuff, or putting together events that don't materialize, you have the same sorts of audience acting like she's tricking them. But the result of treating your streamer this way is they talk less about plans or stop talking about them entirely, like Haruka. It's worse for everyone. So you have to push back against the impulse when you see it so it doesn't take root.

I can watch an 8 - 16 hour stream no problem, but a lot of the highlights videos I'm bored in the first few minutes. Mostly because they chop it down too much so when there is something funny the viewer doesn't even see the joke.
