For what it's worth, she definitely used to do a lot more collab prep (Advent Phasmo, Advent MK, BG3 if I recall) before overcorrecting to her current state where she just joins collabs for whatever game completely blind.
I hope it was actually just because she doesn't want to be super competitive, like she talked about after Sportsfes, and not because she just eventually gave up on everyone besides Kaela and the other sweats, or because of some shit like the "Biboo made Mococo cry" rrat actually having legs

I'm sure it's because she knows that she's above the average gamer in Holo as a whole, and if she tryhards it she'll eventually make it a bad experience for the other girls, and by trying to win she'll also end up losing sight of what's important - having fun. She very very briefly talked about this during (or after?) the crab game collab, how she approaches these things without wanting to win but to have fun instead. Even when playing with the Sweaty Gamers, she'll still mess around like buying boomboxes or being an overall dork in LC. She wasn't THAT comfortable with the full ID group that time so she toned down the messing around a lot, at least during the first half I still gotta catch up with the second half, dang it
I'm not a god gamer rock girl, but I also used to be the best player among my group of friends, and after a while it gets tough to tryhard in games with friends - you'll end up making the experience bad for the worse players, so I kinda know where she's coming from.

There's definitely a middle ground between tryharding too much and doing enough prep to speed up or otherwise improve the stream

Well, I can only see this being an issue if she was dragging the collab down by being the only one not doing that, but usually everyone else is as lost as she is. It doesn't help that the average horror kusoge is needlesly complex with various items, rules, etc. I do prefer them getting into it during stream - it's nice seeing them figuring things out, like when Shiori stabbed Biboo accidentally in the sasquatch game.
