Merch being the real money maker is common knowledge in the industry, so it wouldn't blow my mind if nijisanji actually decided to take all of the money for themselves. If you check their site most of nijisanji especially the EN branch's merch are low quality, cheap to mass produce good which definitely fetch good profit. It wouldn't do good for liver's reputation but they don't have to shill said merch as hard as hololive it seems.
