NijiIN had shit marketing. The talents spoke English which meant they could be understood by the western audience as well. Problem was that no one knew about them. They barely had cross branch collabs, no music covers, clips or anything that can make them stand out. Niji thought, instead of giving them actual resources, just rename the branch to EN with no marketing, that'll give them a boost. Ofcourse it didn't work.

I don't think every man that prefers 2D women does it out of inaccessibility to sex. Many don't want the hassle of 3DPD, or simply prefer the aesthetics of anime, etc. It's not hard to imagine women having similar mentalities (especially with all of the separatist feminists out there today).
