Cover's stock isn't as high because Cover puts the business first and investors second.
They don't suck out every penny they can out of the talent, and they don't skimp on support employees.
That means they make less profit and that's not good for investors.

It’s not the Doki situation but yes, you may have noticed there are a lot of graduations going around.
To put it simple, the bubble popped completely. Any company who was in for the cash now finds itself basically done. Cover suffered their own problems, no one is there crusading for them, but they will recover because the Idol Company direction they took makes them a lot more stable and less bound to share prices.
The industry is restructuring in what it would have been without the lockdown. One where you need to put some sweat and blood and see the results later.

This is honestly my main issue with it, I am sure they can use the studio well as it pertains to Cover's 3D studio requirements and it might improve the 3D shows they do with JP now but I don't really see how that is going to attract others that would want to use it like video game studios or CGI movies unless Cover is renting it out competitively and the prices on this have been dropping. Keep in mind that markerless mocap is coming with the aid of deep learning.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvhIek6Q568
This by itself once it is mature in 1-2 years might eliminate a lot of the use cases you would want a 3D studio for in this space and will probably transform indie Vtubing content. The only real thing I can think of that may trip things up is the fact it seems like it can only do a single or two subjects for now, and multiple people of 2+ will be out of question for now, but that isn't impossible given that other advances in deep learning.
