I don't really blame them when at the time, specifically last year, Apex is so dogshit nobody really wanted to touch it & Valorant had a shitty and boring act after Masters Tokyo & Champions LA that nobody really wanted to touch it & vcr events that were spammed throughout last year just killed off the fps vibes for a lot of them

STGR is alright in moderation, but nobody does that. 12 hours of it every day sounds like a nightmare. It was bad enough trying to track Beni across multiple povs for a few months. Even worse if there was actually streams for me to keep up with.

LoL (and apex) have room for zatsudan time. But the critical difference is that the viewer doesn't actually need to pay attention all the time.
If you miss some stgr, you are missing "the plot". If you miss part of a lol/valo/apex/etc stream, the worst that can happen is you miss some good plays.
Stgr requires a much higher level of dedication and attention from the viewer just to keep up with it - and that's even before you consider how long people stream it.
It sounds a bit petty but it basically becomes a sisyphean task that can only be made bearable with long-form clips. If you're lucky enough to have someone make them for whoever you're watching.

If you follow the fps circles who play stgr, then yes.
If you missed those downtime moments live in League or stgr, you just watch clips of them & then their archives if you really want to. I don't follow all of them religiously but it's still fun to watch them fuck around when they're not doing proper rp with other players & their interactions with them.

Sounds to me like you just miss the zatsudan moments that revolve around the vspo girls which I also wished happened more. But for the sake of rp in the server, it was understandable why they avoided doing that.
Beni/Mimi/Akarin were never really that deep into rp anyway & their daily stgr routine was mainly doing farming, heists, farm, gamble or fool around with the gang, so the 'plot' that you are missing isn't by that much.
Plus, they've all had down time moments with one another with the gang & did similar くちぷー & たまし chill time talks (rp-less filler conversations) also with familiar people like Kanae, Shiromanta & Mondo.

As someone who watches one of the bigger victims of stgr (Kanae), I will say that it really is awful. The actual worst part is how everything is RP heavy and if you're unlucky enough to become a relevant person on the server it's really hard to just put the game down and quit when you want to. Both kanae and mondo have expressed that they're tired and want to play other games, but it's expected of them to keep logging in and keep the story going.
Their fans don't enjoy it, they themselves don't enjoy it, stgr watchers won't watch them stream anything else, so I really don't even see the point in dedicating their lives to playing stgr 12 hours a day.

"I'm logging in to stgr at XX PM for X hours" should set expectations for the viewers and the players. Set the end times lower and lower until the other stgr addicts plan around you instead of the other way around.

but noah is vspo's apex queen (and queen of tourneys really) and beni is the original valo representative, and nazupi was the anime girl playing CS until she quit due to valo and retardedly selling a karambit knife for 10% its value. nazu is also the cod/warzone rep. the OG members (LVG) used to play in many PUBG customs/tourneys. and don't ask about LoL.
some vspo members also have some playthroughs of stuff like old marios, or ema with DQ, but it's less predominant with some exceptions

for general knowledge:

Watch past VSai VODs (Apex particularly)! This is a good way to see the stories and relationships that developed. CR Cup Apex also has many iconic moments from its peak.
