I like what I like. Some stuff just activates the neurons, both in that I find people who played the same stuff I did, got into it the same way I did, or are similar to me. It also is the niche that explores more abnormal designs or concepts more often than not. It's also a break from what I call the formula - for vtubing. It has an authenticity of people doing what they enjoy for themselves, not to be popular, not for a wider audience, but them. As a result generally, the people are a lot better to interact with on a vtuber and chat experience both and away from the more normie spaces.

I know her and Pamu have been in contact for a bit so I want to be charitable and say Pamu being more open about this style of content than anyone in the EN side since Gomi might have given her courage to go harder.

Also I could be wrong, but I don't honestly think anyone gets into ryona for numbers or clout. There's not much to gain from a scene where streamers intentionally hope to filter most of the wider vtuber audience in order to continue doing their thing undisturbed.
And if she is, she'll leave on her own. Based on my experience in extreme communities, I think it's better to accept them and let them filter themselves if they decide it's not for them after all.

I've mostly lurked until recently as well, but I do agree to an extent, I've seen equal amounts of threads devolve into bickering to keep in too small a scope, but also the opposite where they become in active or eaten by another because the scope is too wide and causes either thread merges or inactive discussions.
