I think it's a bit easier with WoW because of how the expansion releases work. You have your mount/toys collection, but new expansion is basically hard reset on gear and progress. Difficult to talk in specifics without giving away who my oshi was. Ultimately, a bunch of information about her was revealed that made me realise that she simply couldn't be the person who I thought she was. Even if she continued to act the same on stream as she always had, I completely lost my ability to trust anything she said and what she had done was just something I couldn't forgive, so I left.
The hardest part for me is that she's still streaming, although at a reduced capacity due to the increase in anti activity she's seeing as a result of said info (not from former fans, but just general antis/vtuber antis/teenaged shitposers), so realistically speaking I could just continue to support her, but I had told myself that there were a few things I simply couldn't accept and one of those was completely violated, so I made the choice to leave.
