Combine that with VG and Armis debuting and the original community in /mans/ has almost been completely replaced. The community on /vt/ was a huge part of what made Tempus fun, but it's gone now and replaced by something a different audience enjoys. I still watch Altare, Axel, Bettel and sometimes Shinri though.

One thing male vtubers should ask themselves is, if the devil came to you and assured you of, say, 10k constant real CCV for the first six months, if you showed your face and stopped doing any vtuber-related things forever, would you take that offer?
Because if you would, then you should just drop vtubing now and turn on your webcam from the start. If there's no pressing need to be a vtuber, no unique thing you're hoping to do with it, and all you want is the fame and viewers, then you're way better off starting as a fleshtuber. The only thing holding you to vtubing in that case is the insecurity that you need the model and label to stand out or you'll never succeed.

The problem with male vtubers in the EN sphere right now is that they're all just fleshstreamers jumping on the bandwagon after Luxiem. They're all normies and grifters who don't even like anime or otaku culture, leaning on BFE/yaoishit because it's popular or "brotuber" style gaming because they're boring and that's all they can do.

I know Holopro is an idol group, but does it have to be for everyone?
