Order of things if I had to guess? Selen's song got shelved and it was a last straw that broke camel's back(aka Selen's mental patience for niji), while Mel's thing got shelved because of her graduation.

I think there is a legitimate reason for her termination, and maybe it's not the first time she leaks shit, I might be coping, but it's a shame they didn't pick any different route with her. I really loved Mel's orisongs like Night Sky. The spooky aesthetic was a great fit for her character. Mostly just sad at how things turned out, I was looking forward to when she said she had a bunch of music coming out. I have her songs downloaded and I will continue to listen to them. Her personality and model were both a great combination fit for her voice.

That was Rushia, and her termination note stated as much: it was a repeated pattern of behavior. With Mel it was one major mistake that, because of the hardening of the rules because of the Rushia situation, they could not ignore and had to proceed according to whatever legal protocols they set up in the wake of the Rushia mess. Something was bound to trigger the now ultra sensitive regulations since Rushia's debacle, unfortunately it was my poor oshi that tripped the alarm.
