I honestly relate to Shiori's upbringing 100% Nothing was ever good enough in the eyes of my grandma, who raised me since my parents split. Oh you got an 89 on your test? Your class mate got a 90. Do better. Oh you placed second on the school's spelling competition? GO do your spelling reps at home till late into the night. I am convinced the only reason my grandma did that is so she wouldn't be embarrassed by my mediocre academic performance around the other parents. I love her still though.
