I check her PL regularly for any sign. If she wants to stream again there'll be a lot of people waiting. Everytime she's streamed there she pulls in good numbers on par with her Mel persona.

Best case and unlikely scenario for her is Hololive collapsing due to some scandal and the dozen or so members she is close with forming some indie network or even a vtuber company run by vtubers. Then again given she got terminated for loose lips, even they may not want to be officially in business with her directly after that.
Short of Holoimplosion, Mel will need to wait for those members to finally be done and hope they don’t call it quits altogether to settle down and raise a family (thinking specifically of Marine here). Either way, Mel is looking at years in the wilderness with little hope of a return to some level of spotlight or fame.

Kson is most likely saving her right now, so just wait for her debut. Regardless of what anons think of VSJ members, as a company, it's the best option for her because they barely have any content restrictions, handle merch, let talents own their IP, let them keep all sc/membership money, and so on. But most importantly, she'd have a group of other vtubers to collab with, which she absolutely loved doing while she was in Hololive.

As much as I’d like to agree and there are definitely benefits, it’s not the right atmosphere for her with her idol aspirations and she is as like to go the same route as Nazuna out the door later if she is the only new JP member to join. I would buy more into the idea if VShojo debuted her as part of a JP wave of 3 new members all at once.
