I like when the thread is chill and live-and-let-live and we can discuss the extended orc universe and our own meta thread lore, as opposed to warring over technicalities and the thread dying because people are afraid to post or they have nothing to talk about when Randon's offline. We already lost a lot of people (some cited schizo rage and fear of discussion as reasons for leaving), and I'd hate for the thread to die off even more by lashing out at the remaining people over the little things again.

Discord has the advantage of being able to split conversations up into different channels so you can refine your subtopics but keep discussing with the same people (e.g. orc friends channel in the Vescord). Unfortunately we don't have that luxury here. Best we've got is puzzle chat for bonus conversations. Or straight up going to Discord, which might be all that's left if the thread ends up really doing it this time... So be careful what you wish for.

Its as simple as they hiatused and graduated together and made their return center around some degree of camaraderie and collabing, so the Ligma brand has been absorbed in with Lando. Thread seems to be made up of Randon (+orbiters) and Lando (+orbiters) which are two distinct spheres that only truly overlap on the andon. Lando being mainly flesh brings his mainly flesh connections. Remember how much overlap there is with fans who watch/oshi multiple streamers, especially when the streamers are all connected to each other. I agree. Though I figured that my biggest problem with the Rogue trader playthrough is that because it's too long for me to focus solely on the stream, I need to be watch it while doing something else. And Randon doesn't seem to properly read out loud all the written dialogue (And when he does he speed-reads and it's a very low quality experience), so I very quickly loose track of what's going on.
Either that or the story is confusing, I don't know. I watched every Rogue Trader stream and I could not tell you what the game is about.

Randonneuring (also known as Audax in the UK, Australia and Brazil) is a long-distance cycling sport with its origins in audax cycling. The Vestie & Magmite fancords allow discussion of their respective oshi as well as others in their spheres (e.g. Vestiecord has sections for discussing Vesper, Tempus, Randon, Randon friends, and Randonnite streamers, and you're free to view/hide the channels you do or don't care about)

I can't speak for others but I can share my own experience and make some guesses. Since Tempus' debut, I only hung out here (in the old thread) and never sought out Discord until the graduations (no Andons allowed in /MANS/, limited Lando allowed in /orc/, limited Magnoir/Tempus in /orc/, and people in both threads bickering over who/what should GTFO). I still come here habitually and moved my non-Randon stuff to the fancords and puzzle chat, but I can imagine there were others in my situation who stopped coming here since they can use Discord as their one-stop-shop for both Randon AND non-Randon content.

And this is before even taking the official Andon servers into account (my story happened pre-Rancord opening, and there were a bunch of people who left before the Rancord exodus as well). Additionally, there are things that people can't/don't feel comfortable discussing in the official servers (whether it's PL stuff or stuff you don't want your oshi perceiving)
