Dunno. Moonjelly had her fumo and other merch done there too before Nade, and if i'm not mistaken they also had delays. But not as bad as ours i'm pretty sure.

If i know Nade well, and i don't, it probably did put her off from pursuing more merch ideas, although a few times new merch, like daki, was mentioned in casual conversation on stream. It pisses me off to think this could be blocking her creative merch ideas, if thats true, thats some serious mental damage being done to her and her vtubing activities.

I think the real issue is that Nade is too busy with school and her actual modeling job. And that Vtubing was always just a hobby for her to help her to destress so now she avoids anything that will make her get stressed about vtubing.

Which is a shame because she was so excited to get Twitch Partner and she just doesn't have that same energy anymore. Nothing to get schizo over I've noticed it with several indies now that Vtubing is aging.

I was thinking about that too, but wasn't sure where to put Nade under. Vtubing in JP is still doing well, in the west it looks like it's stagnated if not trending down even, i certainly am not as excited or interested as i used to be. Could just be me though. But Nade is neither western and neither JP, does she watch vtubers in her spare time (if she has the time)? So i didn't want to put her on the western side where people might just be exhausted, since she could be watching JP content which could be more exciting than what's happening in the west.

While that's true she also talked that she had vtuber wants and goals. Like numbers and popularity etc. Chasing those follower goals and stuff stopped quite a while before her birthday, maybe that was demotivating too. Although to her credit, it wasn't much her fault, she had quite a few long breaks that messed up her climb to the top. I think if she could have streamed without interruptions she would've gotten the original 15k goal in her set time frame.

I always felt like Rhymu's problem was that she needed more eye catching model art. Yellow on black is a good color scheme but the actual colors used aren't bold enough so she feels kind of grey and washed out compared to Sera whose orange can afford to be toned back as much as it is. Not that it matters anymore if she's going to be naked most of the time.

It makes sense if you compare it to Fubuki and Cover Corporation. Like Fubuki, Nade would have been joining a tech startup in its early days, one with a vtuber branch that exists to promote a service that synergizes well with vtubing. An ASMR service would be appealing as it matches her content and means they have an angle that doesn't compete headlong against Cover's virtual concert experiences. The ultimate problem with RPlay in practice is that it's either another video hosting service or another membership platform like Youtube and Patreon respectively, and is going to struggle badly to not be overshadowed by each. There's also the part where they have the 18+ aspects of the service front and center but that's alredy been acknowledged plenty of times.
