Hard to give more robust second opinions with just the blanket idea, but here goes.
The adventurers school setting can offer a fun rivalry / pseudo antagonistic relationship with Shion if she is planned to keep her normal bratty attitude. Her having a natural aptitude for powerful magic can help build up her ego, where (You) might not be nearly as proficient in whatever your planned skills are. It could also be a cute dynamic if you are talented in something that she needs to offset her own weaknesses, despite how unwilling she is to admit that she has them. Since it's a school you could also have a cute little dance/prom at one point at the tipping point of the relationship. I'd also love to see what potential grander ambitions both characters have and the dangers they need to face together.
By the sea, I really enjoyed the first chapter and look forward to more, can't really say more than that.

Another option is Kronii. She may not be as much of a hikki by nature, but there could be long periods of time where she holes up in her room because she's dealing with tons of deadlines, recovering from sickness, or just doesn't have the energy to interact with the world. I think what makes DE as much as anything is how real the world is outside of the protagonist. Harry's a maniac no matter straight laced you try and be sure, but the heart of the game is in the seriousness of everything else as much as the ridiculousness, and focusing too much on making the setting wacky would make it feel empty.

The point is that the protagonist ends up with four different political viewpoints constantly popping up in his head, and he ends up gravitating towards one of them. But ultimately, they’re all useless and horrible, and actually just ways for him to funnel his negativity over his past trauma. It wouldn’t be a DE parody fic if you DIDN’T touch on stupid, irrational racism that’s used as a scapegoat for past trauma.

Disco Elysium is about a man who finds literally every wrong way possible to cope with his trauma; irrational racism and sexism, substance abuse, hustling people out of their money, random harassment, etc. And the message is, as long as you try, you can still manage to be a good person despite that.
