I had been trying to not say anything about this to others to not get them worried, but in doing so I had just grown more and more paranoid myself...
For these past weeks, this vtuber has been talking to me, and he has been a very "nice" guy, but someone who has been too on the edge to never make me see him in a bad light, or to perceive him negatively, that kind of nice, i think. He seems simple, funny, and overall very chill, I have watched some of his streams and he seems a little bit different, yet not completely another person.
The problem is, he mentioned a collab, and I fear saying anything because he is a very well doing chuuba on other socials, but I am pretty sure it isn't in any way a safe kind of thing. He seems to be trying to make me decide what to do, what to talk about, when and how, almost giving me the chance to set up everything up for the both of us in a way that it doesn't feel bad, yet it doesn't really feel like he is deciding anything... I haven't really confirmed with him, as I kept him away from me so far with "not this week, sorry!" excuses, but those are probably not going to be believable three weeks in a row.
Why do I feel like this? He seems kiiinda safe, but I also kiiinda feel not so secure with him. I think his reasons might be because I have better numbers on twitch than him, because I am a girl, because he wants to collab and get closer to me in a weird way (?, because he wants to make a move in the middle of the stream, or also because of a possible combination of these reasons...
Am I overthinking it? Will I be seen as a bad and untrusty vtuber if I were to decline his offer? For reference, I think I wouldn't have problem with collabs if other males were to suggest a collab, but this one... it makes me feel something... weird?

Outside of collabs with males who are FAR more popular than you, it's been proven over and over again that involvement with males, as a general rule, buffs the males involved, while debuffing the girl. Oftentimes this is a more long-term trend and so it won't even be immediately visible, and so the immediate aftermath can lull the fem chuuba into a false sense of comfort.
