I feel like she's pretty satisfied with her current level of exposure, and she's already generating a lot of positive pr through both the ongoing charity in her free chat and the charity auction.

she's networking herself very well with basically all the artists on Twitter, and I think you'll really see it come to fruition when the charity auction goes live and we see what potentially crazy collabs come out of it.

this is very true. very VERY true. however there was still somewhat of a strategic advantage with being signed to a very notable company. back when she was with them (and NijiEN's name hadn't been so ruthlessly tarnished in the mainstream public), she could have leveraged that in negotiations for her projects. she could have advertised her projects around as either "Selen Tatsuki" or as "a Member of Nijisanji English". both names carrying with them their own specific brand appeal. one would have attracted artists, pro players, and tournament organizers (to name a few), while the other would have appealed to other corporate entities, sponsors, and anyone interested in forming further inroads with Nijisanji.

now i'm not suggesting doki should sign with another company. while that would immediately solve the issue, it doesn't necessarily have to be the only way forward. what i am saying is she would need to find a way to establish her brand in order to make it as appealing to entities beyond her artist, streamer, and pro player friends. GimpAnon here with my finished De Cuera Dragoon. If you were on the last thread you might recognize the birds from the AI pic, plus might have realized I followed your suggestions to the best of my habilities. (Changed the horse for a mutant tomato. Went with spider because it was the easiest to make work. And changed the gun for a modern rifle.)

I also MIRACULOUSLY didn't forgor the suggestion of making the next one based on the Portuguese Angola Dragoons, and that will be my next step project. But both the rest of today and tomorrow are going to be EXTREMELY BUSY for me so don't expect it until at least the weekend.

In case you wanna try yourself, some tips:
> Real bird necks are way too thick for this to work, unless you're a drawfag, get an AI to make you thin necked birds. They'll look derpy for sure, AI seems incapable of having a thin necked birb that doesn't look like he's on drugs, but I like my birds derpy anyway.

Overall I'm not 100% happy with this result btw, I am seeing a lot of layers, plus some serious deformations from my transform tools, and that shadow is... *breath deeply* just... And that hand... Oh one more tip I forgor! If you're gonna do this do not focus on getting good pics of the specific dragoon unit you want. Instead look for other appearances of those uniforms. So for example my de cuera dragoon here is in fact a Jinete Andaluz, which just so happens to use the same clothing style, plus an adarga which was the type of shield they used as a sort of badge to be seen from afar, and a spear I got elsewhere and modified into the right length. For the Angola dragoon similarly I checked and there's not a lot of good color pics so I'm just gonna look up the cammo pattern and that strange hat they used and try to get those in a sufficiently appropiate pose. (Might have to just have the dragoon standing besides the tomato-spider-mount tho, and that's fine by me.) Seriously, this will make your life 10000 times easier.

If you want any image editing tips I could give a few, I'm an amateur but yknow, not green. My biggest tip there tho is to just try and practice, you'll get the feel of every tool that way, and the internet usually has explanations for any doubt.
