Ai has been trying to contact her artist and rigger basically since she PF exploded because she wants to be able to do new costumes and stuff if she can afford to. She has not been able to get a hold of either of them. Her artist might have just been legitimately busy (they disappeared online for like two months and only started tweeting again not too long ago) but didn't respond to DMs, emails, etc.. Her rigger got accused of scamming people by taking money for live2d commissions and flaking, and basically has not been seen since then.
That's the jist of it at least.
