Hi, I’m new to the thread.

I’m currently in the process of designing and drawing my model but I feel like she’s not unique enough because her hairstyle is very common among Vtubers… l know at least 3 corpo Vtubers and plenty of indies with a very similar hair color scheme (it’s long dark brown hair with bangs and pink hair streaks). I feel like if I draw her in an alt outfit suddenly you can’t tell if she’s Azki or Raki Kazuki or another person completely…

Does it sound like I’m overthinking it, or is it an actual concern? I feel like with so many Vtubers out there it’s important to stand out and hair is an important part of the design…

You can have a very early WIP sketch if you want though.
Basically if you work with an artist to make a design you'll send them an imgur album or something full of references of different things you like along with a description of the theme/feeling you're going for.
