First, I hope the vtubers got compensated for taking up employee roles while being treated as contractors. Second, this naturally leads to an imbalance of power. If an EN-vtuber did not have access to an EN-speaking staff member, they had to go to a bilingual vtuber. Instead of all vtubers being contractors of AnyColor, this leads to an informal contractor-subcontractor relationship. The JP-speaking vtuber either will get overworked from taking on duties that weren't theirs in the first place and those that keep the roles from what we've seen can only be assumed to be the power-hungry/tripping kinds. Avoidable if AnyColor hired the correct admin staff, but a combination of not offering enough to hire the right people and accelerating waves really harmed the balance in the EN branch.

This is why if they ever do make an EU branch, they'll operate like ID but with an even heavier lean toward English. They might speak their native language in some special zatsus and in reply to supas, but for them to be a unified branch they'll have to speak English most of the time and always in collabs.
The main benefit of having the branch would just be covering time zones and catching some people with an accent fetish.

ES specifically has a MUCH bigger audience to target and would obviously all share a native language.
