thankfully, myth didn't turn into typical twitch streamers who got their shit tangled up in drama, politics, etc. they're different, but definitely tied themselves to the JP branch.

contrast with nijien. niji on the other hand, with their desperate attempt to saturate the market (actual niji strategy). they hired as much people as possible. but they've forgone setting the proper infrastructure (managers, etc.) for EN side and let the asylum patients run around with mostly minimal supervision. it gave the impression that nijien was less restrictive, but actually they're just not being managed properly. they also go about it with least effort, so they just support the golden children (i.e. favoritism). they've allowed the company culture to be vey toxic essentially. and when the inane managers now try to exert power on select matters every now and then, it's like there's a big disconnect and contrast. they allowed the members to muddy themselves in drama, politics, in-fighting, etc. like typical twitch streamers, when part of the managements job is to manage their talents' brands. infusing drama and politics is generally brand-damage to an agency talent, unless that's what they were really going for. which is stupid. they also hard-appealed to a certain demographic consisting largely of females with left-leaning bent, who are frankly like chinese fans in terms of toxicity in any community when they're not the dominant voice or being pandered to. you can imagine the consequences. most of the loudest collab beggars between male and female in holo were actually from the same set of audiences that luxiem pandered to. they saw it as a crusade and were moralistic about it. saw niji as the ideal so they sought to make themselves the dominant voice in holo as well.

tl;dr: holo had better senpai models and management they followed. niji fucked up their management and direction.

Cover is more willing to make changes to management with their foreign branches. HoloEN was having recurring "health" breaks in 2022 so eventually Cover replaced the EN project manager. That may not sound important but that most likely prevented several EN graduations. Nijisanji on the other hand will always side with NijiEN management. The work environment for the EN livers kept getting more toxic until the recent crisis.
