She began her activities in 2019 and remains relatively unknown. A few months ago she started streaming SF6 and this led her to create new contacts, new viewers and now she wants to give something back to the community that helped her a lot. Rosalyn plays with multiple characters, she even played random ranked and made it all the way to diamond. Sometimes uses classic and other times modern.

Yesterday I realized I’d made a mistake in my ordering of events. Speeds were being applied one frame late, so the frame when someone was supposed to accelerate, they’d stand still and then move on the next frame. This was generally speaking inconsequential, however there are edge cases where it feels very odd. So I reworked that and now things work as planned.
I also refactored some collision code, making it so that a single block can serve as a wall, ceiling, and floor. It sounds minor, but it frees me up for a lot of new, interesting collision shapes.

All the SF6 tournaments have been very fun and exciting, I think the talents participating have a great time and take advantage of making new friends. It's the same as Apex in that way, for better or worse. Even scrims have many clips with many views, just because no one cares here doesn't mean they don't like it in Japan.

I am happy to see cute 2D girls in the middle of another activity that I like. That's why I like Pururu, Karubi, Naraka, etc. And I understand that people don't like the content, they don't like SF6 or the tournaments, I'm just surprised that that happens here on /fig/

Can anyone tell me how much botan has improved? I don't play fighting games but I watched the tourney and saw she finally won a match but I don't know if that is luck or improvement.

I think her switch to lily now is kind of sus but she has improved her neutral and fundamentals quiet a bit. All she has to do is stop jumping in randomly against people. A lot of the lower ranked players in the recent tournament seemed to have done that and got taken advantage of pretty quickly

She improved a lot since the time of using Marisa in the first CR cup. Lily, her current character, follows a simpler attack pattern that she understood better. She lacks a lot in terms of movement and defense, but I suppose that comes with practice and that's why she still plays offstream every week.

It strikes me how much fighting games rely on motion trails to sell movement and speed every time I create one.
Half these moves would look weak and painless without the trail to sell it

I redownloaded SF6 twice when I couldn't put up with Granblue's lack of benchmarks, connection indicators, or decent matchmaking anymore because of vtubers still playing it and both times I uninstalled and hid it again after several matches of complete and total misery. When I couldn't wrap my head around SFV I would think "how do people like this" with some understanding that there were enjoyable elements I couldn't get through to, but with 6 it's all the way down to "what do people even see in this" where I can't even figure out why anyone would try to like it.
