I'm a guy, I like it just because it's a pretty generic and wholesome thing. It's not edgy, while some comedy falls flat it doesn't have the grating quips of modern writing, no cgi, etc. It has soul and isn't ruined by politics or "diversity" or anything. Older movies are simply better.

If you know any good movies similar to this, suggest them. It's the same reason I still enjoy the old HP movies, because they just had more soul than the later ones hich just didn't work for me.
