He lacks social grace, but he isn't actually autistic or awkward enough that people find it charming. Most notably, it resulted in him taking an inoffensively lukewarm stance on Harry Potter that ended up getting him shit from both extremes of the political spectrum.

Other than that he's just a bit unfortunate as the face of holostars en and was the designated dumping target for Vesties when they were on a campaign to throw all the other boys under the bus. The controversy around Altare is basically all bad luck when even among his immediate peers he's docile as hell.

He wasn't terrible when he first debut but there was really nothing about him that really stood out. He just feels so bland, in the way he talked, his mannerisms, even some of his choice of games. The only time he really kind of comes out of his shell is when he's with Kobo.
Then there's the whole harry potter thing, where he decided to soap box and it ruined it for the others in EN from playing the game, while JP and ID got to.
Lastly, it always came off that he wasn't really a fan of Vesper and to an extent Magni, because they weren't playing into the whole idol thing like he and Axel does. Sure there's a few times where they did collabs and they played well together and got along, but it seemed fleeting by the end of the streams.

None of the hololive girls have ever showed support for valid/gender people at least to my knowledge two homostars have. Plus one of them is a Hasan suck up.
