PS: I should have switched off of Ubuntu long ago. Recent update was borked for me and I have spent the past few days trying to fix broken drivers, then fixing compatibility issues and finally giving up and trying to reinstall. Of course that ALSO doesn't work for me, cause the installer is just stuck for hours on end.

Anyway, so I use Arch (btw) now and holy fuck, everything JUST WORKS. Never knew Hydrus could work out of the box on linux with mpv already included, was always a huge struggle to keep it working on ubuntu.

Using filters is easy, you just select one, play with the options until it looks good and hit ok. Back in the olden days you didn't get a live preview and it could take several minutes for big images, but now it's just instant.

This is working really well! I just substituted the segs detailer I used before, and it is soo much more consistent. Thank you anon for letting me know about those nodes!

One thing I noticed, that is most likely because it is denoising 100%, and thus has more detail to work with, is that it tends to do large characters, while the segs detailer I had used before on around .7-.8 denoise also had characters much further away by default. However, that's a fine trade off, as at least now there's actually a character in each image.

Also, thanks for the workflow. I think I mostly get what you're doing. The only question I have is regarding the pre and post processor? I assume these are diverging workflows, so, you don't need them if you want to get to the masked_img2img, but instead just use them seperately and ignore the rest. Interesting idea, I have these kinds of things in completely different files, though I also rarely use them. For the most part I've been just endlessly genning through one workflow, sometimes inpainting specific images.

Also, I see you use the Segsdetailer afterwards. I am kind of scared of doing that, as I am just barely below my VRAM limit at some points(it reaches slightly above 100% sometimes. Occasionally it also completely crashed my system when I was still on Ubuntu)

You don't have to worry about anything after the post process portion for Animagine. This foocus inpaint is not a 100% compatible with pony, while it does a good job with the inpaint the final results has a ton of noise for whatever reason, so that portion is just to do a quick img2img on that portion to repair it.
