At the start of 2023, when everything in NijiEN started to externally fall apart and Nina began seriously thinking about graduating, Kiara had a meetup in Japan with Elira, Nina, Rosemi, and Petra. Nothing fishy on the surface, but note that Nina organized the meetup and Kiara specifically asked for Petra to be there too. Pomu would have attended too, but her flight left the day before.
Flash forward to 2024 and Nijisanji just committed PR suicide. Rosemi, Petra, and Elira are in Japan and have gone completely silent on social media. Pomu, who has graduated since then, has stated that she wish she could have done more. Nina, who has graduated as well, stated that she's spent some time comforting friends going through a shitty time.
I'm thinking the meetup in early 2023 between Kiara and NijiEN was a business meetup to figure out how to negotiate with NijiEN's shitty management, or to get tips how to better work around their said management.
If you're thinking that may be a leap in logic, consider this: Kiara's already given business tips to NijiEN before. NijiEN only has unarchived karaokes because Kiara told Pomu how Cover does them.
