Not everybody here is an editor. Some are trying to do their editing reps, but they're trying to do so in a way that would benefit their streaming. So yes, YT shorts and tiktok videos.
You have to keep in mind editing is a long process, and even if they make their video with a perfect thumbnail and a perfect everything else, the chances of the algorithm picking said video up are slim, while shorts have a way better chance of pulling in views, and consequentally numbers.
Iriya (https://www.youtube.com/@IriyaL.E.Ch.).) makes ASMR videos which are high in quality and fulfill a much needed niche, and one of his videos was indeed picked up by the algo. That's his main content, and he streams sometimes on his Twitch account.

If my ace detective skills are correct, I'm assuming you're him, and that you should level up your content creation game yourself by watching tutorial videos made by Finzar or Javier Mercedes on YT. Also, interact with people. I have never seen you in an /asp/ie chat. And fix your subtitles on your latest short because they were all over the place and got hidden by the YT UI: Upload an unlisted video to see what it looks like, fix your shit, then upload a finalized one post-fixes.

This also depends on the chuuba. We have some /asp/ies that lean into their musical side (gClef, Andy, Kenny, Pittie) but I think only Daiya released a cover in recent memory. Who knows, maybe Andy or Pittie will do something like that soon. I'd like to do a Cendrillon cover with a female /asp/ie eventually myself but right now that's a distant dream.
