That's the thing, these issues all stem from a cultural difference. In the west being self-reliant is considered a positive trait. Going out of your way to secure positive privileges for your company is very valuable in an employee. Meanwhile in Japan they'd rather you wait years and suffer in silence rather than overstepping your station. This is why I think many of the livers who are more ambitious would benefit from leaving. Even if they didn't stay indie and went to another company like Phase or VShojo, their work ethic would be valued rather than punished. Selen is 100% already poached by one of those companies and she's gonna be bigger than she ever was in Niji.
