Altare and Axel don't really care. Axel got Selen and Altare into Hal's JP VSaikyo tournament as Team Snakebite.
On the day of the finals they had an early lead, and then their morale cratered after a couple of bad rounds. Selen said she just wanted to shoot shit and have fun, and they did even worse in the last rounds.
People saw it as bad mental, because she didn't stick with their gameplan and gave up early. Their coach also seemed close/comfy with Selen, so it was obvious he was going to side with Selen's suggestion. Axel (shot caller) obviously wanted to stick to their prepared gameplan.
After the tournament, Selen basically got defensive about her Apex skill in her own way. I think she went to join other tourneys without saying thank you to Team Snakebite or something to that effect that rubbed some people here the wrong way.

what the fuck is happening at Niji now? The NDF seems to be out in full force and you have already announced a graduation, is the Selen termination soon or what?

in defense of their coach, there was no way to be even handed around Selen's inferiority complex as an fps player. Out of the three members of TSB Selen had the most experience as a "competitive" player and she just shit herself after Axel confronted her about not calling out mistakes in the gameplan etc. Their coach was pretty much forced to focus their attention on talking Selen off a fucking ledge because she couldn't assert herself at all during that tourney.
