Thread discussion for /vt/. No arguments please. Just discussion and whys of either option. Remember, each Vtuber streamer operates their streams differently and have different rules and regulations in terms of how to provide content and entertainment.

A chuuba should always only interact with me and ban every single other faggot that dares speak a word in our chat

Ideally a vtuber show would be no different than Saturday Night Live except audience/chat can vote on what adventure the skits follow.

Meh, mostly the game but they should reach for the chat in the dry moments if they need something to bounce off of.
I don't like it when they interact too much at the start of the stream, I kinda want them to get to it.

you should watch twin vtubers, one watched the chat and one focuses on the game

No, the Streamer should shut the fuck up and get on with the game. I want to see how latest games are played without their spurging out like a cringe idiot. If they talk, instantly block/ignore and go to another that is just a PNG/Live2D/3D just gaming.

Sadly most Vtubers I've watched aren't of pairs/Twin ops. They are mostly Single/Indie that aren't of Corporate affiliation of any renown. The streamer gets too much influenced with chat that they feel that they NEED to entertain chat by interacting with them in order to succeed in streaming/retain a fanbase/loyal following.

No.
>>68136736
Depends on how large/organized the Vtuber is
>>68136784
Possibly the most comfortable of option to be fair.
>>68136802
This is rare.
>>68136920
That is no good. In that case you should stick with *Gameplay/Long play only streamers*.

The list of importance as follows
>Focus on Friends/Game
>Focus on Unicorns/Devout supporters
>Focus on followers
>Ignore not followed chat

Balance between the 2. If things get overwhelming and they can't follow along or effectively contribute in the social environment then pulling back to focus on chat interaction is entirely valid.
For all the shitposting it generated, Gura's last palworld stream was a great example of doing both in 1 stream

>>68138104
Usually its up to the mods and most indie Vtubers don't have mods on hand to keep chat civil. So it depends. Shitters gotta shit on people trying to enjoy their hobbies/job anonymously.

Being decent at multitasking is the bare minimum to be an entertainer
Besides the answer depends, playing a game with a heavy story you need to focus more, even the chat gets annoyed if you don't pay attention, but if you play fotm you barely has to pay attention to the game itself

What's the point of streaming if they aren't gonna react to chat?
