The fact that Fauna is a 5view these days out of all of HoloEN is baffling and says a lot about how fucked up normalfag tastes are. In my opinion, every single other HoloEN is more deserving to be in that position than her. They can sing or dance or draw, they play more challenging or iconic games, they speak Japanaese, they collab with more talents, they have goals and ambitions they want to achieve, all except Fauna seemingly. It's not that I hate Fauna or want her to graduate, I just really don't see her as someone who should have a CCV higher than 4-5k, like in her first year when she was more niche and she had yet to inherit the takos and the chumbuds.

Her English has improved quite a bit, but a lot of banter requires a good understanding of English cultural references, wordplay, and the ability to communicate quickly and fluently. In a lot of her earlier Vshojo collabs she spent much of her just repeating new words she learned from other members. Some of her most viewed clips are her mispronouncing a word, or not understanding something right away because of the language barrier.

It's legitimately just a language barrier thing, mixed with her being one of THE EN friendly Vtubers. She is legitimately good at English compared to some of the apes I work with, but her brain does take a second to process and catch-up to stuff sometimes. This obviously isn't an issue solo since she just goes at her own pace but in collabs it can throw a wrench into a conversation's pacing, but it's only really an issue since her "staple" status in the EN sphere forces her into talking English more often than not. I think her "reliance" on shticks as some suggest is just her brain going "well, I don't really have to think about how to say this in English, may as well fall back on it" which, I love her, but even that isn't really true a lot of the time hence the word genius being thrown in to almost any sentence that isn't a normal back-and-forth conversation. But I don't even really watch Henya because when they buried Pikamee it fucked me up good, and can't bring myself to go back, so I'm admittedly working with a rather limited hand here.

While japanese and idol culture are without a doubt the biggest and arguably most important parts of vtubing, people who act like it's the only defacto definition of it are just close minded.
