The majority (not all) of AKA Virtual talents are formerly Indonesian indie chuubas that have been poached. SOL.4CE boys are the recent addition. But, in Akemi's case (more subs than Kuzuha of Nijisanji, btw), he grinds hard (via shorts) since he joined AKA Virtual.

Also, AKA Virtual has partnered with JKT48 (sister idol group of AKB48), so JKT48 can debut its own VTubers unit called JKT48V. JKT48V debuted their 3D models pretty fast compared to other corpos.

So, this agency is legit.
