I enjoyed The Hobbit way more than the LoTR trilogy. I have a massive amount of respect for the trilogy and Tolkien, but I could only make it halfway through The Two Towers, the books are so god damn slow and drawn out.
Not like I was some ADHD zoomer, I was ~18 and an avid reader, but there would be an entire page describing a tree branch it was ridiculous.

The Tom Bombadil part was dope though, they should have put that in the movies.
