But look for dora drops, consistently one suit and eventual two suit drop patterns, and even first row of random middle tiles with no honor/terminal drops. Above all, consider your hand's tenpai state vs the discard rows. If you're not close to tenpai by row 2, then be concerned. Someone might be.

There's a lot of meta reads regarding discards. But try not to overwhelm yourself such that you're screwing up your own hand.

I guess it depends, I'm sure there will be a large amount of excess time like the rest of the events, probably even more so given the limited nature of this one compared to something like the cooking one that you could just spam. But you also need some spots upgraded for unlocking dragonlings, like needing the lvl 1 mine for one of the early ones, so I assume the orchard will be used in the same way. Also picrel once you have enough people for everything.

learn defense and basic push fold. /mjg/ would tell you bouncing between 1st and 4th is a sign you play too aggressively. save the aggression for when your hand is good, and pull the reins when its bad.

youre in silver where 90% of players dont understand basic defense and are more likely to deal into obvious waits. you should call riichi for almost all of your closed tempai. if you constantly have bad waits you need to work on your tile efficiency and when to abandon a shape due to low remaining tiles
