Despite the reputation ILLUNA has now, many seem to forget that Aster had a very solid debut with more than 70,000+ people seeing it broadcast. His 2.0 stream easily had some of the most coverage amongst those affiliated with him, both in the /nijiEN/ general and social media. Early into his run, Ren and Kyo even attempted a short-lived show with him called Moon Bros. But all of that was lost pretty quickly due to three core factors.
>Miscasting
Aster is femboy bait. His color scheme, his voice, general mannerisms. It's perfect for just about any femboy chaser. Aster however is very much gay for pay. When approached about BL and other said media, he audibly went "ew" and dismissed said ideas despite attempting to push ships in his next breath. Now this was Nijisanji 2022, peak Chinese fujo era. In an instance he lost that demographic. He was never able to recover because the mask came off too soon. Some would consider that liberating? Well considering ILLUNA is the most "here for the money" wave, it was a fucking dumb action on his part

Aster is a tryhard gamer that constantly gets into mood swings and lashes out when losing. He shoted at Nina and the Feesh when he lost the Twitch Rivals event against his ex Zen. He shouted at Ewiwa and Nina during Apex. He shouted at himself and chat during his BR marathon. The guy cannot control himself. What is worse is that this is the only times he is actively vocal. Aster constantly streams in silence. He refuses to chat, engage. His chat would rather socialised with each other than with him.
>Approach
Aster does not engage with anyone. Just a few weeks ago, Luca had a bro-session. All the lads bar Aster got together in VC and had drinks. Talked about r34, anime and other nonsense. This was the perfect chance for him to socialise and be apart of Niji events and refused. Aster exists in a bubble at this point. This entity to give indies false hope of making it into the company. "I might be struggling right now, but least I ain't Aster" is basically how most look at him when new hires struggle. For those of you not neets, It's like going to the bar after work with your colleges and the regional manager wants in too. The dynamic isn't there despite being co-workers on a technicality.
