My rrat is the uncreative and largely uneventful "suspension turning into a (((retirement)))" situation. Management probably expected Selen to wait it out and come crawling back, but Pomu's graduation probably caused a domino chain of events behind-the-scenes along with a ton of bad PR for NijiEN. They want Selen to come back now, but she doesn't want to, so management probably put her in limbo and enforced some clause in their contract that prevents talents from also being too active on their PL accounts, all in the hopes of starving her back out. It's not working and the likely scenario is that Selen is probably just going to wait out the remainder of her contract.
I'm guessing anyways, because talents gone for long periods of time without mentioning breaks/health reasons in advance probably aren't staying long at that company anymore. Its not even a Nijisanji thing, same happened with Magni and Vesper in Holostars.
