When Fubuki did it to announce her album release, I was also a bit disgusted with the notion.
It was funny for awhile, but that made a lot of people uneasy about "announcements" in general. No one knows if they should take it seriously or not.

I really thought Kizuna was quitting. That would have been the mark to sign about the end of the old era.
I'd be more surprised if Kaguya Luna made an announcement herself. Where the fuck has she been?

Not really. Gura still hit her 3 day 20k subs even during her break and she's coming back later today so it might go a little faster than usual. The best time she'd hit 4m is around December. Kizuna Ai usually hits 10k subs in about month, more or less than that by a week. I'm guessing this since I know that she hit 2.90m back in January. She did get a sub boost from 2.96>2.97 because of the 5th birthday thing. She'll hit 3 million this year. Maybe quicker if people are motivated at the 2.99m mark but by then Gura will probably be at 3.5m give or take any other sub boosts than the usual 20k each 3 days pace she usually has.

Also, a weird tangent but they are from the same generation. Got recommended Mirai Akari 360 Lap pillow.
