I thought he said that he loves RP and characters, but his brain jumps around too fast to settle into one role for the long term. He gets bored easily and wants to transfer over to another character, class, race, worldbuild, etc. so being DM over all the content lets him split his attention in small doses and gets to have a hand in a bit of everything.
