I've considered whether or not I like the chat message counter and I don't really. I do like the idea of regulars getting a little shoutout on the VOD though. It feels like those Patreon (or other) shoutout lists at the end of static videos (which the VODs will eventually become) just haven't adjusted the code to make that section cleaner. The post counter thing included is really silly though so that's going. It also has different sections for new follows and subscribers which is staying. I like showing as much appreciation for my viewers, followers and subscriptions as possible because dozens or a handful, all of them are precious to me.

the only advice I have off the top of my head beyond the usual starting scuff is to work on avoiding dead air, but I'm almost hesitant to even say that. I feel like people go too hard in the opposite direction sometimes and say the most inane shit imaginable (usually, repeating what they just saw/heard in the game or if they're really desperate humming along to the in-game music) because they think anything is better than silence when that frankly isn't always the case.
and don't feel bad if an hour is all you got in the tank, the best stream length is whatever works best for you after all. some of my favorite vtubers usually only go for an hour or two
