In my case thats most of my daily movement as my back is messed up. I cant even stand for 5 minutes without my back hurting bad enough to make me want to die. I need a medical back brace just to do my weekly grocery shopping.

My daily 40 mins of exercise routine usually consists of 30 mins on my exercising bike/ergometer at about 20kmh average for 10km distance a day while lifting weights for 15 mins using it as i have both hands free to have some arm strength as well as a 10 min HIIT (High Intense Interval training a day).

Mostly cardio to stay somewhat fit as its all i can really do with my back being fucked up, but my goal was never to build much muscle mass, but rather keep my joints active as some muscles help with the chronic joint pain and cardio helps with symptoms of EDS.

I actually loved sitting in nature, but going to a park or something causes me pain and i cant be bothered leaving my home due to stress anyway. Depends on how long were talking. I shave my beard usually daily so it wont get long. But for long hair, I'd reccomended using a trimmer first and then using an electric razor or using a manual razor thingy (i forgot the proper term) i use a combination of both to get the best results.

Your barber probably has a pretty sharp blade as well as shaving cream might help as anon mentioned.

Let me just be direct and not beat around the bush as i may not have made this clear enough with my wording before. Im not against ERPing or anything of the kind, but i dont think i would ever do it in the thread. As i mentioned before, i feel like ERP belongs to DMs rather than a public image board. While theres a 99% possibility that im autistic at least in that regard i have some social awareness. I mean, im easy enough to find in the threads discord server thats in the OP if you really care that much. Im generally open to talk about anything in general with anyone that may have anything to discuss.

Also while i may be articulate (idk if thats the right term to describe myself) in general, my vocabulary regarding ERP and all that stuff is rather lacking. So i feel like it wouldnt be much different in my case. Im pretty good at dealing with my SA after i get to know people, but i think in regards to ERP id suck at it (no pun intended). While im not innocent and watched my fair share of porn/hentai doujins, my skills to express that stuff in words are rather lacking.

Also theres also the issue with always feeling like im a burden to people just with my existence, but then again i should let people decide themselves if they want to waste their time talking to me like kuro keeps saying that when the topic comes up. (I definitely feel like i will regret this post. When i wake up im too tired to really care about my SA rn).

Yeah this is a formatting quirk of mine. I like to see as much of the prompt as possible in one place so I can fiddle with jailbreak wording on individual cards as needed, leaving my systemwide jailbreak field inactive. I considered making jailbreak-free versions of my cards for upload but laziness won out at the end of the day.

See, I'd have agreed with you a few months back but the more I experiment with baking the more it seems to me that example messages are only relevant for bots that you want to have a very specific verbal tic or something. To be fair, my pivot away from example chats has coincided with moving to better and better backends which can do fine without them but I'm really uncertain about the value in most cases - see the attached image where I ran a best-of-3 test with 2 different backends on a copy of the OG Ayame card with no examples vs. with examples. I'll grant that the mistral output looks just a bit better but for 4t I could really go either way...perhaps example chats are more relevant the lower down the model performance scale you go?

Part of me hates how subjective and random this whole 'bot quality' and 'model quality' thing is in terms of single outputs. There are a lot of factors involved, not the least of which is the user's own ability to write roleplay, nudge the LLM towards desired actions, and actually visualize what's going on - I grew up reading far far too many books so I have a prose/imagination edge that might lead me to find bots and backends that are not great acceptable anyway because I can fill in the gaps...but I should be baking with typical users in mind, perhaps I have strayed too far towards lightweight lately.

Not mystery/thriller but my vote for most beautiful prose in a work of fiction goes to The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. I'm mostly a fantasy reader, I suppose Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy has a bit of a mystery/covert slant, you may enjoy that one. What else...most of the stuff I read growing up was technically categorized as YA or kids books, but Fablehaven has strong enough writing to be enjoyed at any age, same for Ranger's Apprentice (only read through book 10) I'm also a huge Wheel of Time simp in spite of its flaws (the TV show is an atrocity)

Just read whatever appeals to you, and a lot of it. For me it's long fantasy epics and the occasional sprinkling of something else but if you're hungry for thriller take a peek through review sites and look for what's popular - very highly rated books are normally, at the very least, not bad.

If you really want a full list of books I've read I can't possibly give you one but off the top of my head, things I read during my teenage years: Everything by Sanderson through 2018, Everything by Mull through 2017 (I guess I like authors named brandon) Almost every Redwall book (God those got repetitive) 40-50 entries in the Hardy Boys series (see above note) All of Rangers Apprentice, Patricia Wrede's Enchanted Forest Chronicles (CRACKED series, very fun, do read it) A bit of Dragonriders of Pern, a bit of Earthsea (sorry Ursula I need to go back and finish that) Ender's game + 2 of the sequels, All of the Sherlock Holmes stories, Jessica Day George's Dragon Slippers series (pretty good), Artemis Fowl (books 2, 3, 4, and 7 are the best ones) Airman by the same author (cracked), The Mistmantle Chronicles (something about that setting still strikes me very emotionally, perhaps it's what my childhood self would have considered a utopia), all of Wheel of Time, TNotW (both mentioned above), A smattering of nonfiction/historical books (Carry on Mr Bowditch stands out in my memories), a bunch of one-off fantasy novels I can't remember the names of, and of course the entirety of the Bible

Digital media is just so easy to settle into by comparison...but I will at least re-read the first four books of The Stormlight Archive before book 5 releases. Probably. I just woke up and i really this wasnt my autism/bad social skills making this awkward but, to make it clear, since you seemingly dont want to drop the topic for months now join the dicksword and feel free to DM me and we can talk if you want to do so. Honestly, despite the depression talk i did lately. I do take a lot better care of my physical health, since summer 2023 i worked on loosing any weight i had above being barely underweight (i was still at a healthy weight back then) as EDS causes strain on my joints so i thought going as low as possible while staying at a healthy weight helps and it did.

I also started with a light 10 min HIIT back then to slowly build up my fitness levels and since october im doing 40 mins of exercise a day, 10 min HIIT, 30 mins on my exercising bike/ergometer (idk if thats the proper term for it in english) for 10km distance at 20 kmh per day while lifting dumbells for 15 mins while on the bike to build arm strength (suprisingly helped build some muscle despite the low time of lifting) as well as using an ab roller like 3 times a week. Because my legs are trained now and i have a good amount of muscles there now my chronic knee pain is barely noticeable now so it did help a bit to get to a general level of fitness.

Doesnt make me less stressed but oh well i still get something out of it. Trigger for this was as i was at a friends place during summer 2023 (someone from this thread in fact, no weird reasons he doesnt see me that way) as he wanted to simply help a friend and actually he actually drove 1200km to pick me and my cats up. Honestly think that was more effort than im worth, but im grateful to them. Things due to that lead to me working on this even more.

Sorry, for dragging this out blame my autism (that im 99% sure now i have after looking at years of my posts when i talked to a friend about it) but yeah i still do. I dont record you anymore, though since you left the dicksword as i couldnt make sure vods were safe to archive. I may have archive autism but the safety and privacy of the streamers still take top priority to me and i wont share unedited vods with content that may be used to attack the vtuber im recording. In fact im in talks about going the official route, so yeah things looking well in that regard. Just stress REALLY getting to me. Again, sorry for dragging this message on so long.

I think this is one of the few communitys i talk and just power through the anxiety. I mean sometimes my hands literally shake just typing out posts here but i still hit enter. I mean my above posts i did today and last night were some of these.

I just dont want to make things akward due to my bad social skills/autism and not being able. While that may be true, id still feel bad to say anything that may hurt others feelings or whatever, even if there are no consequences due to the anonimity.

I mean i had to deal with people being mean to me/bullying me in my whole childhood which is why my self esteem is basically non existent, so i never wanted to take after them, so it may be related to that.

Its pretty hard to get me really mad (like my neighbours managed to do due to years of constant stuff piling up) but generally im not someone to hold a grudge for long. Im not even mad at my neighbours anymore and i may have been overreacting due to letting the stress get to me too much. I promise what i said was only due to the stress. Im not mentally ill enough to act out on what i mentioned, at worst id probably rehome my cats and go to norway if i cant handle the stress anymore (its really getting there if things dont change soon).

And yeah youre right, my social skills did get a lot better already than they used to. I used to be way worse, to the point i never even said as much as a sentence compared to how much i talk now. I generally adjust my way of speaking to my envoirement. I can talk in a professional, casual and whatever else way if needed. Im able to adapt as needed.

id never consider playing gacha games or played any (unless you count me selling myself out and playing raid shadow legends until lvl 40 to get 100$ credit for steam as playing it. I really had nothing better to do but it was torture, never again.)

In general theres also the thing with safety of meeting people online, but id only meet with people i know i can trust anyway, which would involve getting to know people first. I think theres like 3 people from here that actually know where i live as im 99% sure i can trust them as they wanted to help out and two were considering the same thing. I unironically dont get why people would even consider this for someone like me. Idk what im even trying to say here t b h i slept 2 hours last night and the night before i slept 5 hours after staying up for 40 hours. I mean im usually a story kind of guy. I played games for storys, read visual novels for storys and all that. I dont have a specific genre though as long as the story is good id touch it. Romance is a bonus a i was always into love and all that stuff rather than only sex. Its actually why i prefer Final fantasy 8 as weird as the story gets and how bad the romance plot is implemented. Muv luv had a good implementation of it into the story and i loved sumika as a character.

I just cant imagine gacha games having a good story and always imagined them just being "cute girls doing cute things" kind of storys. I dont dislike "slice of life" type of storys as long as they are getting somewhere though. Just theres a limit of how much i can take, pacing is another issue if the story drags on and on and isnt going anywhere.

TLOH: Trails of cold steel IV being the worst offender of bad pacing or the CS arc in general 4 games that feel like 90% of pointless filler. Could have fit the whole story into 2 games without the filler, also ruining plots points that started with "TiTs" (trails in the sky) arc with some stuff i cant talk about without spoiling stuff. Hajimari/reverie wasnt better so idk if i continue the series.

But yeah maybe getting back into stuff might help but now knowing i only did it to cope with things i dont think just playing games and reading storys can make me happy again. Idk what to do with my life anymore at this point. Maybe go back to sleep for now or try to.

I dont think they can fix the series with kuro (no kiseki) CS IV majorly ruined my will to touch the series. The series just drags out forever and theres no way the final game will be worth all the build up with how they ruined CS IVs final act. I mean its the final game in the CS Arc did it really need 50% of the game being filler? took me a year to drag myself through the game with x5 Speed at the lowest difficulty to lower the hours boss fights take.

I guess i might check kuro out when they release the EN version in summer 24 if im around for that. Persona 3 reload was also something i wanted to check out but it would likely be a waste of money as i wouldnt get to finish the game and drop it two hours in due to not having the energy to do so.

Gacha games are a diverse bunch. BA is CGDCT, Arknights drags.

Girls frontline starts off as CGDGT but it takes a sudden turn and then it’s a dark war drama with romance and the like.

Neural cloud is more of a survival adventure after a bit of an apocalypse.

Honestly they’re a pretty diverse bunch, the writers can go wild, depending on the demographic they’re going for.

Well i guess i want too wrong last year when i thought she wasnt gonna make it much longer. Shes always had these phases of not eating and i cant do more then offer her food and already made sure shes not sick. Shes not the first pet that passed away due to that. I lost count how many of my childhoods pets (mostly guinea pigs) passed away like this as well. I took care of these guys until their last moments and they all passed away in my arms so i guess i should be used to it by now. Didnt expect her to get this old to begin with as i had her since i was a kid as well and i did have to boottle feed her at two weeks as well as her sister. Her twin didnt make it out of the kitten phase, so i was glad she and her sister made it and shes gotten pretty old despite that.
