Gura is good for mass consumption. She's easy on the eyes, her voice isn't too shrill, her jokes aren't too nasty or hidden too deep in meme material, good mixture of harmless and troll.
Compare her to the rising stars, the "gura killers" FWMC and Biboo. FWMC is so deep into the fandom's wants, they're not mass consumption material. People will cringe from the way they sound and act. Bijou is meme lord, very shrill, and also more tuned to fandom than mass consumption. You can always expect people who don't really care for vtubers to sub to Gura. Not FWMC and Bijou. Vtubing is still very fandom-based. Partial luck on Gura's side tho. She's the first in line of EN so she got in early and sets the standard.
