It's clear Beryl wants to work within a japanese environment. Initially she worked for Production Kawaii which is a japanese company, and then she worked for Star Ring which is another japanese company. So if she comes back it's reasonable to assume that she would want to work for a company with some kind of japanese affiliation tied to it. Now Phase Connect is a canadian company but they do have many asian members with some currently living in Japan and with Kaleido being a JP gen others from there probably live in Japan as well. So I think Beryl would rather work for a company like Hololive or Nijisanji but it's probable that she's already applied to them and didn't get in. From her perspective Phase might be the only option available to her that has good numbers and decent ties with Japan.
