Its not that Meloco doesn't want to speak English, because she does. But she's still rough around the edges, even in some of her recent streams she makes a few errors here and there to where you can tell English was something she picked up later in life.
You can definitely make an argument on whether or not she should have been let into Nijisanji's ENGLISH branch based on her debut capabilities though. Nina's is definitely way better. You might not like the cockroach theme but it's insanely expressive compared to the fox, it fits her so much better. It's like trading in a cheap marionette for a real body, definitely a huge upgrade.
