Even if it's half a year, during that time the artist either had to postpone every other requests or couldn't accept new ones. Also if you commission a piece of art, it usually takes around two weeks to be finished usually (based on my experience at least), more if you have revisions and in Bae's case, the author helped a lot to design each outfit. In the after-party at 35:00 she talks about the art and mentions that finding someone who can finish the amount of art she requested within the time was difficult, which is why she went to Ina.So I assume they had a deadline and everything had to be ready quite early.

Besides that, they had to reconstruct the instrumental part of the song, for which they asked a musician, and the video had to be animated. I couldn't find prices on the site of the people who worked on these, but I assume it was quite a lot.

For fully animated project it's about 30-150k usd if you are willing to work with lancers, up to a half million or more if you want to hire a big name studio, producers and guest talents.
