They mostly hired NND talents (practically from the same pool as Niji) back before 2020 and this was an upgrade for all of them, even ones with an active side-gig. Azur Lane collab and sankisei also happened in 2019 before clips started blowing up during the quarantine. It wasn't a place where NND personalities came to die, they came there to grow even if they were burning out at the time, for some it was one of a kind chance they had to fight for. Hardly comparable to what vshojo is right now - it already is "huge" and all retired talents subscribe to their ideas because they just want to take things easy, I don't see it changing direction any time soon because it serves them really well and for that reason they have zero competition when it comes to poaching talents. From the talent perspective there is zero downsides to joining it unless it conflicts with their personal principles.
