I think what was breaking was using the LCM sampler, that only works with the lcm lora enabled. Honestly unless you care about speedy gens I would just ignore lcm and just use whatever sampler you usually use (no offense workflow anon), other than that it didn't like that dynamic threshhold settings.

Also for most holos you can get away with just using their names, don't really need to add feature tags on this model, here is a wildcard aniimagine guys gave for prompts to get characters

What I've been doing with it is using an XL model (pony, it has poor knowledge of holos) for the first gen and then one of my old 1.5 models that has HLL mixed into it somewhere for the img2img part for the character recognition. I'm definitely no comfyUI expert (in fact I barely have any idea what I'm doing at all) so if you find ways to improve it or variants on the idea then feel free to change it.

It's not the hands, with inpainting I can get the hands to do any of the numbers without much issue. Mouth is the bigger problem because on upscale it's hard to control which shape it takes but yeah I think 3, 4, 0 should be doable. 5 and 1 no idea, not sure if there is a expression that mimics that mouth movement.

id recommend giving her full debut (full as in the main model, she had a chibi model debut earlier kek) a watch to note down the smaller things on the next revision, id say if you can get the magatama to show up as a solid piece and get the coils to work (even if AI will mangle them as always similar to tails), id say thats enough. the gloves dont matter as much, same goes for her cybernetic skin things (you'll know what im talking about when she shows the jacketless look) and her mechanical wings.

I can't say I've ever had any issues? Scale has to be above 1, otherwise you shrink the image. The node should run more or less instantly, the slow part is the second sampler run to make the image actually look good. Here's a pic with an extremely barebones workflow if you wanted to try it to tell if the problem is being caused by something else

Ah, I see. You're upscaling the first sampler's latent image directly. I wanted to use an ESRGAN upscaler that I was using on auto's webui, but to make that work you need to decode the latent image, upscale the result, and encode it back to latent before sampling it again. The hi-res fix w/ ESRGAN example on comfyui's documents uses a "Upscale Image" node instead of "Upscale Image By". I guess I'll have to look into this further

Ah, I see. That might be where your problem is coming from? Some (all?) of the upscalers you use with a Load Upscale Model node have a certain amount of sizing built into them already. If I feed a 1024x1024 first pass image into the arrangement in picrel, it becomes 4096x4096. I guess it makes sense since the upscaler does have 4x in the name, after all. But the point is, if I then also use an Upscale Image By node, I better put the scale factor below 1.0 or the image will become super large and when I try to convert it into latent and sample again there is no way I will have enough VRAM for it.

When I do a process like you do, I tend to scale it down to 0.4 or 0.5 before encoding back into latent. You should do a test with just your upscaler to see how much it resizes it without you actually specifying anything

Having a jimmey neutron brain blast with the 4x part actually, imported your nodes for animesharp 4x, I can't 1:1 to the size I want since I like to upscale by 1.5 and to get that with the anime 4x sharp it has to be downscaled by .375 but it rounds up. You're setup defaulted or was left on 1.0 denoise, which was honestly making insane quality jumps from before but I dunno if it's that extra few pixels it's gaining from the process it was causing some fair instability and body horror in final gens.

Yeah I realized this afterwards, I only rolled one image since I was just trying to rush out an example and I happened to roll a good one first try. I don't have it that high for normal use and wouldn't really recommend it. Well hopefully either way this is good info for you finding a setup that works, I certainly learned some stuff making the minimal workflows myself
