if you want actual good advice, be consistent, game the algorithm as best you can, stream primarily on twitch (i know a lot of people hate it but it has better discoverability than youtube), edit (or commission someone to) your clips then repost them on other sites, focus primarily on one niche (whatever your favorite game is, ASMR, or chatting streams or whatever) and network like crazy. unfortunately luck is a strong factor on whether you’ll make it big but at least like this you should easily reach 20~30 ccv

Depends on how you plan on starting out, I would say if you want to joke about it, no more than a joke, or two per stream if you don't want to seem like a AVtuber.
Problem is just that some twitch randos often tries to be retardedly demanding when it doesn't fit the stream and try to push you into doing stuff for them, which can come off as desperate if you don't strike them down and just do what they say. It should all be in good fun, not a long discussion where you feel pressure to be subservient. Doormats are nice, but if everyone uses them they get worn and bad looking to outsiders.

Hard to tell at first glance. Sadly the whole small vtuber scene is just a grooming simulator: it is designed to give women gifts and attention.
The only way to tell a groomer from a normal person is if this person eventually pushes for more:

- Asking about personal info in dms
- asking for real pics
- expressing wish to meet up in cons, or just asking what cons are you planning to assists.

A person with no intentions will ask nothing in return, your best viewer is he who donates anonymously, they are the real heros. Anyone else is sus. The whole thing is a minefield. Keep in mind every viewer who is in love with you wants you to be your girlfriend in real life, but some are clever enough to hide it, either out of shame or out of maliciousness.

As a general rule never give anything to those who ask for it: never give mod roles to someone asking for mod, never tell anyone about cons who ask you about them, never do real pics, ever. Set strong boundaries and make clear you will never date anyone from the scene and bad actors, regular viewers or vtubers will go find easier targets.

Do nice things and expect nothing in return. However, be warned, this is the board that cried groomer, so even if your intentions are pure you will be accused to be a groomer anyway if you focus your love on a single chuuba. Artists have known since the primordial era to spread their efforts as not to draw aggro: draw her friends too! It will make her happy and keep the schizos out of your back. This is known in the hlgg circle as the Klaius principle: focus your love, and everyone will hate you, spread it around, and you become an asset to the vtuber community.
